Yoga Ayurvedico

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage originates from the merging of two ancient Indian disciplines: Yoga and Ayurveda. Codified by the teacher Kusum Modak, direct disciple of the founder of Iyengar Yoga, this type of massage is aimed at maximizing the benefits of Yoga and Ayurvedic Massage in a single treatment.

The practice is based on manipulations performed with the use of natural oils, powders and other products of plant origin, in conjunction with Yoga exercises, with assisted (passive) stretching techniques aimed at improving joint mobility and flexibility, and dissolving muscle tension.

Ideal to rebalance the muscles, relax the mind and relieve the body from fatigue, dissolve contractures and purify the body, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a discipline able to give new light and restore energy in every aspect of the psychophysical plane.

The YogAyur - Natural Wellbeing Association has always been at the forefront of offering top-level treatments connected with traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda. At our centers we also organize annual training courses to learn the secrets and techniques of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage.

The Ayurvedic Yoga Massage course consists of four intensive weekends held at our Rome studio in the Pyramide area. The teaching module provides a total of over 60 hours of training, both theoretical and practical, during which we will probe every philosophical and applicative aspect of this wellness discipline. Participants will learn the principles of manipulation and sequences of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage and will acquire full mastery in putting the treatments into practice.

We will also deal with the concepts of anatomy, physiology, Ayurvedic medicine, philosophy of well-being and ethics of the holistic operator in order to provide each student with a complete package. Training will take place not only in practice-oriented lessons, but also through lecture notes, in-depth resources and the creation of study groups.

Upon completion of the course participants will receive a certificate of attendance and will be officially able to practice Ayurvedic yoga massages at a professional level. Furthermore, for exemplary students there is the possibility of an internship at our centers, with the opportunity to immediately put into practice what they have learned and to continue their training in the field.
